Buy Wedding Insurance

My daughter is getting married on the 28th of March 2020. Now I don’t envisage any issues arriving; however, my wife insists we take out Wedding Insurance. I guess there are many reasons why we should do this, including us having spent over £4,500 already.

Buying Wedding Insurance Because of Monies Spent

  • We have paid a large deposit on the venue
  • My daughter has paid the deposit for the food (need to pay her back)
  • We have paid for the bridal suite already
  • We have paid a deposit for the dress

Buying Wedding Insurance In Case of Circumstances Beyond Our Control

  • What if the venue goes bust (unlikely the amount they charge)?
  • What if the caterer goes bust?
  • What if the wedding dress shop goes bust?
  • What if the photographer pulls out?
  • What if the entertainment pulls out?
  • What if one of the main protagonists is seriously ill (hope not as likely to be me)?
  • What, god forbid, if my daughter and her partner split up?

I am sure there are many other reasons why we should Buy Wedding Insurance.
